The mission of the Silicon Valley Screenwriting Group (SVSG) is to help local screenwriters of every skill level  to hone their craft and find the support and motivation needed  to keep writing.

Founded in 2005,  the SVSG serves as a resource for local Silicon Valley/Bay Area screenwriters, providing guidance and support in all areas of the field. We offer networking opportunities, critical feedback on works-in-progress and a sense of community for our members. We subscribe to the philosophy that we all learn from one another.

The group meets  on  the second Saturday of each month.  

We are looking for a few more writers to add to our core group.  If you are serious about screenwriting, then this is the place for you. At the SVSG, we place great emphasis on educating, motivating and supporting our members.

We are open to beginning,  intermediate, or advanced screenwriters over the age of eighteen.
